Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. KIDaccount is looking for a K-12 Account Executive to help grow district partnerships across the country. This role focuses on lead generation and requires strong outreach skills to connect with school leaders regarding Emergency Management and Visitor Management solutions.
Responsibilities
- Generate qualified leads through outbound email, phone calls, LinkedIn outreach, CRM follow-up, existing lead lists, and other practical prospecting efforts
- Identify district-level opportunities for KIDaccount’s Emergency Management and Visitor Management solutions
- Book qualified demos with K-12 decision-makers and influencers
- Research schools and districts to understand their safety, visitor management, and accountability needs
- Use Zoho CRM to track outreach, follow-up, notes, and pipeline activity
- Use LinkedIn Sales Navigator and existing lead sources to build targeted outreach lists
- Participate in demos, proposals, and sales follow-up
- Learn KIDaccount’s products well enough to explain core features clearly and confidently
- Assist with customer onboarding and basic customer support during the busy August and September back-to-school season
- Represent KIDaccount professionally at conferences, virtual meetings, and school/district conversations
- Travel up to 10% as needed
Skills
- 3+ years experience in K-12 sales, edtech sales, school safety sales, or a closely related education market
- Strong lead generation skills and comfort with outbound prospecting
- Ability to speak with district-level leaders, including superintendents, assistant superintendents, technology directors, and safety/security directors
- Clear communication skills, both written and verbal
- Strong follow-up habits and comfort working inside a CRM
- Willingness to learn the product deeply, not just memorize a sales script
- Ability to work independently in a remote role
- Comfort working in a small-company environment where priorities can shift quickly
- Professional, persistent, and organized approach to sales
