They are seeking a Data Scientist to develop and implement analytics techniques, build ML models, and manage data projects to transform raw data into meaningful insights.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a set of techniques or analytics applications to transform raw data into meaningful information using data-oriented programming languages and visualization software
- Build and evaluate Marketing ML models using First & Third Party Customer Data
- Create and manage end-to-end projects including analysis design, execution and summarization of results
- Develop scalable data pipelines for feature extraction using various cloud services
- Identify, clean, analyze and summarize data, potentially from disparate and complex data sources, to facilitate high quality analyses
- Prototype and implement advance solutions to enhance existing ML model performance
- Create clear documentation of research plans, results, and conclusions
- Present research and recommendations based on research findings to audiences of varying level of experience
- Collaborate with data engineering and operations teams to productionize work
- Automate processes for recurring analyses or other model building activities, focusing on efficiency
- Participate in planning, roadmap, and architecture discussions to help evolve our AI processes to improve revenue-generating products
Skills
- Master's degree in Data Science, Computer Science or related field and two (2) years of experience in a computer occupation
- Must have two (2) years of experience with/in Programming and data analysis using Java, Python, Shell Scripting, PySpark, or SASSQL
- Must have two (2) years of experience with/in Databases: PostgreSQL or MySQL
- Must have two (2) years of experience with/in Data Visualization and Business Intelligence: Tableau, AWS QuickSight, Javascript, matplotlib, and seaborn
- Must have two (2) years of experience with/in Big Data Analytics: Pentaho, Snowflake, AWS Redshift, or Hadoop
- Must have two (2) years of experience with/in Cloud Computing: AWS (S3, RDS, SageMaker, Lambda, Step Functions, or Athena)
- Must have two (2) years of experience with/in Machine Learning Modeling: Supervised Learning, Unsupervised Learning, Feature Engineering, or Hyperparameter Tuning
- Must have two (2) years of experience with/in Probability and Statistics
- Must have two (2) years of experience with/in Agile Methodology
- Must have two (2) years of experience with/in Version Control: Jenkins or Git
- Must have two (2) years of experience with/in Data Exploration
- Must have two (2) years of experience with/in Data Visualization
