The role involves querying and analyzing data from healthcare databases, developing reports and dashboards, and supporting various financial and operational reporting needs.
Responsibilities
- Query and analyze data from multiple healthcare and billing databases using SQL
- Develop and maintain reports and dashboards in Power BI
- Aggregate data from multiple sources to create meaningful business insights
- Support financial (40%), executive dashboard (30%), and operational (30%) reporting
- Handle ad hoc reporting requests as needed
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand reporting requirements
- Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and consistency across reports
- Provide insights that support business and operational decision-making
Skills
- Healthcare or clinical industry experience is mandatory
- Strong hands-on experience with SQL for querying multiple databases
- Experience working with healthcare and billing system databases
- Advanced report writing and data analysis skills
- Strong experience with Power BI dashboards and reporting
- Ability to extract, transform, aggregate, and visualize data
- Experience supporting executive, financial, and operational reporting
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment
- Experience with healthcare data models and clinical systems
- Knowledge of healthcare billing and claims data
- Experience with ETL processes and data integration is a plus
- Familiarity with data visualization best practices
