This position is responsible for developing project control systems, managing budgets, and collaborating with project managers to provide financial insights.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain project control systems to track financial performance and project progress
- Prepare and analyze project budgets, forecasts, and financial reports to provide insights to project teams
- Collaborate with project managers to identify financial risks and develop mitigation strategies
- Ensure compliance with financial policies and procedures throughout the project lifecycle
- Lead regular project review meetings to discuss financial status and recommend corrective actions as needed
Skills
- Bachelor's degree in finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in project controls or financial management within a project-based environment
- Proficiency in project management software and financial analysis tools
- Master's degree in finance, Business Administration, or a related field
- Professional certification such as PMP (Project Management Professional) or PMI-SP (Scheduling Professional)
- Experience in the management of large-scale projects in a corporate environment
