The Epic-certified OpTime analyst will lead the design, implementation, and support of the EPIC EHR system, serving as a subject matter expert while mentoring junior analysts.
Responsibilities
- Designs, builds, tests, implements, and supports information technology solutions to meet operational and clinical needs
- Provides consultation for program design, coding, testing, debugging and documentation
- Understands system options and configurations completely and can suggest and lead teams through decisions on the best way to configure and utilize the system
- Analyzes, designs, and makes recommendations to improve existing systems and/or methods, and provide written, detailed reports
- Creates thorough system design and build documentation
- Collaborates with other analysts, staff, vendors, and leadership
Skills
- Bachelors Other in related field or 4 years of equivalent experience may be considered in lieu of Bachelor's degree, upon hire
- 3 years working with systems analysis programming/design
- 5 years of additional relevant experience: application support, implementation
- Development experience with applications in a hospital or medical related industry
- EPIC OpTime, Anesthesia, Lumens Certification
