Veranova is a global leader in the development and manufacturing of complex active pharmaceutical ingredients (APIs) for pharma and biotech customers. The Data Analytics & AI Solutions Engineer will advance global data and analytics capabilities, focusing on actionable insights, automated KPI reporting, and AI-enabled capabilities.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain high‑quality Power BI dashboards, KPI scorecards, and data models
- Translate business requirements into well‑structured analytical solutions across manufacturing, supply chain, quality, finance, and commercial areas
- Ensure consistency and global alignment on metrics, definitions, and UI/UX standards
- Optimize Power BI performance, including DAX calculations, data modeling, and incremental refresh
- Partner with business process owners to enable self-service analytics
- Extract, model, and transform data from multiple global systems
- Support data pipeline development for analytics and reporting
- Ensure data quality and reliability across reporting ecosystems
- Build shared datasets, semantic models, and standardized structures
- Help identify and scope early AI use cases
- Configure and support AI toolsets such as copilots and embedded SaaS AI
- Ensure safe and compliant AI usage in partnership with IT Security
- Provide training and documentation for AI-enabled tools
Skills
- Bachelor's degree in relevant field
- 3–7 years' experience in data analytics or BI
- Strong Power BI, DAX, Power Query, and modeling skills
- Experience with enterprise data sources
- SQL and cloud analytics experience (Azure preferred)
- Understanding of data governance and KPI standardization
- Strong stakeholder communication
- CDMO or pharmaceutical industry experience preferred
- Exposure to AI concepts or tools preferred
- Python or similar scripting experience preferred
- Familiarity with APIs and ETL frameworks preferred
