CyberCoders is a non-profit organization in the Washington, DC area seeking an experienced Full-Stack Engineer for a large-scale reporting modernization initiative. The role involves converting legacy reports into modern solutions using Python and web technologies, and requires strong development skills and the ability to work with complex datasets.
Responsibilities
- Convert legacy SQR reports and Sybase T-SQL logic into modern reporting solutions
- Develop and maintain applications using Python, Node.js, ReactJS, and Material UI
- Analyze and understand complex data schemas and business rules
- Work with large datasets and reporting environments
- Collaborate with technical and business teams to ensure accurate report conversion and functionality
- Support deployment and operational processes within Kubernetes and CI/CD environments
Skills
- 7+ years of professional software development experience
- Strong experience with: Python, ReactJS, Material UI, Node.js
- Experience with: T-SQL, Microsoft SQL Server
- Ability to work independently and learn complex data models quickly
- Experience with Sybase and Sybase T-SQL
- Experience modernizing legacy applications or reporting platforms
- Java development experience
- Experience with Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines, and infrastructure management
