Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. IDR, Inc. is seeking a CAPPS Financial Tower Analyst to join one of their top clients for a remote opportunity. This role involves supporting the statewide CAPPS Financials system, providing technical expertise and functional assistance to ensure smooth operations within a public sector environment.
Responsibilities
- Support and maintain the CAPPS Financials module, including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, General Ledger, and related components
- Provide functional configuration, issue resolution, and business process leadership within a statewide ERP system
- Collaborate with diverse teams to support system testing, change management, and user training initiatives
- Ensure compliance with policies, support system integrations, and contribute to release management activities
- Offer expertise in system security, policy alignment, and performance reporting to optimize financial operations
Skills
- Extensive knowledge and understanding of State of Texas applicable policies
- Extensive technical skillsets needed with App Designer, Integration Broker, assorted SQR/SQL, BI Publisher, SAP Business Objects, etc. to support functional responsibilities
- Extensive knowledge and experience performing system configuration changes
- Extensive knowledge supporting and providing oversight with batch jobs, i.e., Run My Jobs (RMJ)
- Extensive knowledge of security best practices, NIST standards, and multi-tenancy applicability for a statewide ERP instance
