Career Launch Tech Initiative (CLTI) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to empowering underserved individuals with technology and training for career development. They are seeking a mission-driven Business Development Intern to build an outreach pipeline and connect with potential nonprofit partners and donors, contributing to CLTI's growth and impact in underserved communities.
Responsibilities
- Research and identify potential partner organizations and donor organizations aligned with CLTI's mission
- Execute structured outreach campaigns to build and maintain an active pipeline
- Track and document all outreach activity and pipeline progress
- Communicate professionally with external stakeholders and manage follow-up conversations
- Support meeting scheduling and participate progressively in partner and donor meetings
- Submit weekly progress updates and participate in team meetings
- Complete a final capstone presentation summarizing results, learnings, and recommendations

- Organized and detail-oriented- you keep records accurate and up to date without being reminded
- Self-motivated and proactive- you take initiative and go beyond what is asked
- Comfortable conducting research and sending cold outreach at volume
- Communicates openly- if something comes up, you say so instead of going silent
- Prior experience in sales, fundraising, business development, or nonprofit work is a plus but not required
- Students, recent graduates, and early-career professionals are encouraged to apply
