They are seeking a Business Development Manager to drive growth by generating pipeline, engaging with prospects, and developing proposals while maintaining strong relationships with clients.
Responsibilities
- Run multi-channel outbound campaigns against priority segments and named accounts
- Qualify inbound and partner-sourced leads and convert them into discovery conversations
- Maintain a healthy, well-tracked pipeline with disciplined CRM hygiene and accurate forecasting
- Lead first calls with prospects to understand their business challenges and shape potential engagements
- Partner with senior leadership and subject matter experts to scope projects and develop compelling proposals
- Drive proposal turnaround with quality and speed; manage the full follow-up cadence through to close
- Own the relationship with prospects from first touch through signed engagement
- Identify follow-on and expansion opportunities within existing accounts
- Represent 10EQS professionally in client conversations, on calls, and at industry events
- Help refine messaging, ICP definition, and qualification criteria based on what you see in the market
- Bring market intelligence back into the business to sharpen our offerings and positioning
- Contribute to a culture of pragmatic, data-driven commercial decision-making
Skills
- 4–7 years in B2B business development, sales, or client development — ideally in management consulting, market intelligence, expert networks, market research, or a services-led SaaS environment
- Demonstrated track record of personally generating pipeline and closing or contributing materially to enterprise deals
- Comfort engaging mid- to senior-level executives across functions such as Strategy, Innovation, Marketing, Operations, or Corporate Development
- High energy, high motivation — genuinely enjoys the hunt and is undeterred by no's
- Strong written and verbal communicator
- Sharp commercial instincts and good judgment on which deals are worth pursuing
- Disciplined with CRM, follow-up, and pipeline tracking
- Builder mindset — comfortable in an environment where processes are evolving and your input shapes how things work
- Some exposure to industries such as industrials, healthcare, private equity, professional services, or technology is a plus
