Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Local Culture Creative is a full-service marketing agency seeking an Account Executive to drive sales for their agency. The role involves booking meetings, managing the sales cycle, and maintaining client relationships while staying informed about the market.
Responsibilities
- Booking meetings. This is the job. You'll be making outbound calls, building your own pipeline, and getting in front of decision-makers consistently. If you can't generate your own meetings, this role isn't for you. We'll help you close, but we need you to open the door
- Running the sales cycle. From first conversation to signed contract: needs analysis, proposal, negotiation, close
- Learning our products. Digital, print, social, sponsorship, streaming, experiential. You don't need to be an expert on day one, but you need to want to understand how each of these actually works for a client
- Managing your book. Once a client signs, you keep them happy, keep them paying on time, and keep growing the account
- Staying sharp on the market. Know what's happening in Orlando, know your competitors, and bring us new business leads before we ask for them
Skills
- 2+ years of business development experience with a track record of self-sourcing meetings
- Real curiosity about marketing
- Comfortable with a high volume of outbound activity and un-bothered by rejection
- Strong presentation and negotiation skills
- Organized enough to manage your own pipeline without someone chasing you for updates
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field preferred, not required
- Agency or advertising sales experience is a plus, not a requirement, if your BD skills are strong
