Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Accountant with a strong background in Reinsurance to join our team. This role is critical in managing accounting operations for both Property and Casualty Facultative divisions, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely financial reporting.
What You Will Do
Perform all aspects of accounting for individual risk and program business, oversee monthly billing and daily cash application processes, and maintain strong relationships with clients and assistant underwriters.

Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- CPA or progress toward certification
- 7+ years of accounting experience, with a strong focus on reinsurance or insurance industry
- Solid understanding of reinsurance accounting principles, including premium and loss bordereaux
- Proficiency in reinsurance systems and advanced Excel skills
- Strong analytical and reconciliation skills with attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and relationship management skills
- Knowledge of SOX compliance and internal control frameworks
