Prior Authorization Specialist / Patient Appointment Coordinator (Work From Home)
Client: Urology Practice based in New Jersey, USA
Key Responsibilities
Process and follow up on prior authorizations with insurance companies.
Confirm and coordinate patient appointments.
Answer patient calls professionally and courteously.
Perform administrative and clerical tasks as assigned.
Maintain accurate patient records while complying with HIPAA privacy standards.
Requirements
Experience with prior authorizations is highly preferred.
Comfortable communicating with patients over the phone.
Willing to use time-tracking software during work hours.
Willing to work through a HIPAA-compliant secure virtual desktop.
Reliable high-speed internet connection.
Quiet, professional home workspace free from distractions.
Strong communication, organization, and computer skills.
Compensation & Benefits
Rate: $5.00/hour for the first 90 days.
Increase: $6.00/hour after successfully completing the 90-day probationary period.
HMO Benefit: Available after completing 6 months with the client.
Payment Schedule: First payment after two weeks, then biweekly every other Monday before 7:00 AM Manila Time.
Payment Method: Wise.
