Part-Time Online High School Teaching Assistant (U.S. Curriculum)

IPERC is seeking enthusiastic and dedicated individuals to join our team as Part-Time Online Teaching Assistants for our U.S.-based high school courses. Job Responsibilities: • In-Class Support: Attend online classes to assist the lead teacher with classroom management, facilitate student understanding of the material, and assess student participation and progress. • Academic Support: Lead after-class review sessions to reinforce key concepts, provide secondary explanations of difficult topics, and conduct concentrated exam review workshops to prepare students for tests. Qualifications & Requirements: • Firsthand experience with the U.S. education system (e.g., studied in the U.S.) is highly preferred. (Current students and graduates are both welcome to apply.) • Must be fluent in Chinese and have a deep understanding of the learning habits and culture of Chinese students. Native Chinese speakers are strongly preferred. • Preferred academic backgrounds include: STEM, Business, Computer Science, Humanities, Social Sciences, Psychology, or related fields. • Patient, responsible, and genuinely interested in helping students succeed by answering their questions and clarifying doubts. • Must have relatively flexible availability. Availability during Beijing Time morning or afternoon hours is highly preferred. • Excellent communication skills with a proactive and positive work attitude. • Previous tutoring or teaching experience is a significant plus.
