Part Time Dispatcher (Seasonal When It Snows)

About the position Responsibilities • Come into the Macedonia location for initial onsite training prior to working from home. • Be available when it snows to dispatch events. • Coordinate and manage snowplow drivers' routes in an organized and efficient manner. • Utilize the Electronic Dispatch System. • Communicate with drivers, customers, and vendors to ensure timely delivery of goods. • Monitor and update completion times and coordinate with field managers to ensure all work is completed in a timely manner. • Perform data entry tasks to input and update shipment information in the system. • Collaborate with shipping and receiving departments to coordinate inbound and outbound shipments. • Be able to work on call from Midnight to 5 PM. Requirements • Familiarity with phone systems and ability to handle high call volumes. • Strong computer skills. • Strong attention to detail for accurate data entry and tracking completion of routes from drivers. • Excellent communication skills to interact with drivers and internal customers. • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks accordingly.
