The Opportunity:

Embry-Riddle is now hiring a Mechanical Engineering Machine Shop Lab Supervisor and Teaching Assistant at the Daytona Beach campus. The Mechanical Engineering Department engages students in a variety of hands-on, experiential learning activities designed to complement the undergraduate and graduate curricula. The undergraduate program has focus areas in High Performance Vehicles, Robotic Systems, Energy Systems, and Biomedical Systems, which have multiple associated student driven projects. The graduate program has similar focus areas as well as a variety of research projects, which may be student or faculty driven.

Responsibilities include: Qualifications

Required Qualifications: The primary responsibility of this position is to supervise student activities in the Machine Shop Lab and work with the University’s Environmental, Health and Safety Officer to ensure compliance with all health and safety policies. Broad knowledge and flexibility are essential in this position. Such supervisory effort includes, but not limited to the following list:
