Full-Time TVI Needed Building Success in North Reading

Blazer Jobs is actively interviewing experienced Teachers of the Visually Impaired (TVI) for a full-time position with school districts in the North Reading, MA area. This is an excellent opportunity for passionate educators who are committed to supporting students with visual impairments and making a meaningful difference in their educational journey. Requirements: • Active Massachusetts TVI license (required) • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Special Education or related field with emphasis on Visual Impairments • Strong knowledge of Braille, assistive technology, and adaptive strategies for students with visual impairments • Experience working in a school-based setting preferred • Ability to collaborate with general education teachers, special educators, families, and support staff Responsibilities: • Provide direct and consultative services to students with visual impairments in alignment with their IEP goals • Develop and adapt instructional materials to meet individual student needs • Teach Braille, use of assistive technology, orientation, and mobility skills as appropriate • Collaborate with classroom teachers to ensure accessibility in general education settings • Participate in IEP meetings, evaluations, and progress monitoring • Support students across multiple grade levels as needed Compensation & Benefits: • Pay rate: $50/hr • Weekly direct deposit • Premium pay rates • Health care benefit option • 401(k) eligibility • Professional development opportunities • Supportive and collaborative district environment • Contract renewal opportunities for the next school year based on performance If you are a dedicated TVI ready to make a lasting impact, we want to hear from you!
