Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
- Data Input and Verification: Input data from paper formats into computer files or database systems, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
- Data Typing and Spreadsheets: Type in data provided directly from customers and create spreadsheets with large numbers of figures without mistakes.
- Data Verification and Organization: Verify data by comparing it to source documents, update existing data, and retrieve data from the database or electronic files as requested.
- Data Backup and Preservation: Perform regular backups to ensure data preservation and sort and organize paperwork after entering data to ensure it is not lost.
- Confidentiality and Security: Maintain the confidentiality of sensitive information and adhere to our data security policies.
Essential Qualifications and Skills
- Proven Experience: Proven experience as a data entry clerk or similar position.
- Typing Skills: Fast typing skills; knowledge of touch typing system is strongly preferred.
- Software Skills: Excellent knowledge of word processing tools and spreadsheets (MS Office Word, Excel, etc.).
- Computer Hardware: Working knowledge of office equipment and computer hardware and peripheral devices.
- Database Knowledge: Basic understanding of databases.
