**Job Summary**
As a Senior Data Analyst at blithequark, you'll play a critical role in supporting our business growth through data analysis, investigation, and interpretation. You'll work closely with cross-functional teams to identify business opportunities, develop data-driven insights, and drive business outcomes. **Key Responsibilities**
* Assemble complex data analyses, information visualizations, and multi-functional reporting that provides critical support to business teams and decision-making processes.
* Answer business questions and provide expert knowledge on various business streams on D+ and Hulu to improve the customer experience and drive conversions.
* Advance the scientific capabilities of the business, collaborate in the design of analytical solutions, and deliver actionable insights and products.
* Utilize data visualization tools, SQL, and programming languages to access and analyze structured and unstructured data.
* Apply statistical techniques (t-test, chi-square, ANOVA, correlation, regression, factor analysis, etc.) to understand customer behavior and preferences, and drive business impact across the organization.
**Essential Qualifications**
* Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field (e.g., mathematics, statistics, computer science, engineering).
* 3+ years of professional experience as a data analyst in an analytics and data science space with strong SQL, Python, or R skills for complex querying, high-level analysis, performance optimization, and working with large datasets.
* Experience delivering end-to-end analysis projects: taking them from unclear requirements to a compelling story, open to different audiences, and eventually to a clear business outcome.
* Strong communication and interpersonal (written and oral) skills. Ability to build strong working relationships with colleagues, stakeholders, and technical partners. Ability to present to senior leadership.
**Good TO-HAVES**
* Master's degree in a quantitative field.
* Demonstrated data visualization skills with tools like Matplotlib, Seaborn, Looker, MicroStrategy, Plotly, etc.
* Experience with marketing landing pages, join channels, and business spaces.
* Ability to identify and properly escalate issues to management.
* Counseling background, MBA, or other multi-industry experience.
* Strong motivation and ability to work independently.
* Excellent written and oral communication skills.
* Humor and a positive attitude.
* Unique interests or areas of expertise that impact the way you interact with others and tackle business challenges.
