Primary Job Duties
The primary role of a SkyWest Flight Attendant is to ensure the safety and comfort of our passengers while they are onboard our aircraft. This is a dynamic and exciting position that requires you to be adaptable, proactive, and customer-focused. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Ensuring the safety and comfort of customers onboard the aircraft, providing emergency care and assistance when needed
- Consistently contributing to a positive and productive work environment with employees and customers, promoting a culture of respect and inclusivity
- Efficiently preparing, serving, and restocking in-flight beverages, meals, snacks, and selling onboard liquor and food, while maintaining high standards of quality and presentation

- Providing effective leadership, direction, and assistance in emergency and non-emergency situations, remaining calm and composed under pressure
- Calmly resolving passenger situations during flight, including disorderly passengers and medical emergencies, using conflict resolution skills and empathy
- Ensuring compliance with safety regulations by inspecting and safely operating aircraft cabin components, systems, and emergency equipment, such as escape slides, fire extinguishers, portable oxygen bottles, and automatic external defibrillators (AED)
- Adhering to established procedures and performance standards without supervision, demonstrating a strong sense of responsibility and accountability
Essential Qualifications
