About the Role
As a Customer Service Representative at blithequark, you will be the face of our company, interacting with customers daily and providing them with exceptional service. Your key responsibilities will include greeting customers, operating the register, making purchase suggestions, and working with our food program. You will be an integral part of our team, working together to maintain our high standards for store appearance and providing fast and friendly service to our customers.

Skills and Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you should possess the following skills and qualifications:
- Excellent customer service skills
- Ability to communicate effectively with customers and team members
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think quickly
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask
- Basic math skills and ability to operate a register
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Retail and customer service experience is an asset
- Sales associate or cashiering experience is an asset
- Motivation to advance in your career and willingness to learn and have fun
Physical Requirements:
The physical demands of this role include:
- Ability to stand and/or walk for up to 8 hours
- Lift and/or carry up to 30 pounds from ground to overhead up to 30 minutes in a shift
- Occasionally lift and/or carry up to 60 pounds from ground to waist level
- Push/pull with arms up to a force of 20 pounds
- Bend at the waist with some twisting up to one hour a shift
- Grasp, reach and manipulate objects with hands. This handwork requires eye-hand coordination, and may require climbing a ladder to store and retrieve materials or place and remove signs
