About Batonics
Batonics built Quantoscope (quant4.batonics.com) - a production Rust/Python research and execution platform (L3 orderbook reconstruction, real-time feature engine, multi-exchange support, ML agent orchestration, live risk controls). We recently ate our own dogfood and used it ourselves to run live systematic strategies (dashboard: quant4.batonics.com/strategies/v4)
The role
I spend nearly all my time on research, engineering, and live execution an debugging. Despite that I don't do any outreach, both the platform and the strategies attract inbound interest, this is telling that what you'll be selling is rare and in demand.
I need someone with a background in executive search, recruitment, or BD in systematic/quant trading who can connect to:
• prop desks / market makers
• allocators and family offices
• firms open to external strategy allocation, tech licensing, or partnership in starting their own quant/hft practice
The role doesn't stop at making a connection, but leading it all the way to close the deals.
Compensation
First two months are probationary, success-fee only, then transition to salaried + perf.
Commission on closed deals only (allocation, licensing, or partnership). Terms negotiable upfront; meaningful upside if you can move capital or a licensing deal.
If the engagement works, there is a path to a longer-term executive leadership role (salary + performance).
