Job Description
We are seeking an experienced ELAR curriculum writer to develop a custom accelerated learning curriculum for Grades 3–8. Lessons must be teacher-ready, fully scripted, standards-aligned to TEKS, and built for small-group instruction that can scale for whole-class use.
• Units outline for the 5-week accelerated learning sequence for Grades 3–8 ELAR
• Standards mapping
• Activity writeups, teacher directions, and student-facing text only
• Student-facing materials designed for flexibility and differentiation, supporting accessibility and inclusion

Responsibilities
• Write and revise lessons using a consistent lesson format and tight pacing for a 30-minute rotation model
• Map and verify alignment to TEKS at the lesson and assessment level
• Design instruction for small groups of 4–12 students, with clear guidance for implementation
• Build in scaffolds and accessibility supports for emerging bilingual learners and students with disabilities
• Collaborate with internal reviewers, respond to feedback quickly, and meet staged delivery deadlines
Requirements
• Teaching, coaching, or curriculum design experience in Grades 3–8 ELAR, TX
• Demonstrated curriculum writing experience producing teacher-ready lesson plans and assessments
• Strong knowledge of TEKS standards-based planning
• Clear writing, strong organization, and high attention to instructional quality
• Reliable, responsive, and comfortable working through feedback cycles on a tight timeline
