About careerzynith – Pioneering the Future of Digital Trust
Founded in 2012 inside a Brooklyn sci‑fi bookstore, careerzynith grew from a handful of visionary technologists into a global leader in protecting the digital economy. Our flagship careerzynith Defense Platform safeguards enterprises from sophisticated bots, fraud, and account abuse, verifying the humanity of more than 20 trillion interactions each week. From Fortune‑500 brands to fast‑growing startups, our customers rely on careerzynith to keep their revenue streams, reputations, and user experiences safe from ever‑evolving cyber threats.
Our roots are deeply embedded in hacker culture, but the heart of careerzynith is always the people—our Humans. We champion a people‑first philosophy that shines through a generous total rewards package, an inclusive culture, and a relentless focus on personal growth. Whether you’re training for a marathon, sharing photos of your rescue dog, or debating which robot you’d program to run your household, careerzynith wants to hear your story.
Why This Role Matters
As the Director of Customer Marketing & Advocacy, you will be the strategic architect behind careerzynith’s customer‑centric initiatives. Reporting to the VP of Corporate Marketing, you will partner closely with Customer Success, Sales, Product Marketing, and Product teams to design, launch, and scale programs that turn satisfied customers into vocal advocates. Your work will directly influence retention, expansion, and the overall health of the customer lifecycle, helping careerzynith maintain its position as the industry’s most trusted defender against cybercrime.
Key Responsibilities
- Customer Lifecycle Engagement: Map the end‑to‑end customer journey—from onboarding to renewal—and develop targeted marketing campaigns that deliver value at each critical touchpoint.
- Retention & Expansion Programs: Conceive and execute multi‑channel initiatives (email, webinars, in‑app messaging, events) that deepen relationships, drive upsell opportunities, and reduce churn.
- Customer Loyalty & Advocacy Program: Build and own a scalable advocacy framework that includes case studies, customer quotes, speaking slots, video testimonials, and industry awards. Manage careerzynith’s presence on third‑party review sites (formerly G2 and Gartner Peer Insights) to amplify authentic customer voices.
- Customer Advisory Board (CAB) Leadership: Design, schedule, and facilitate both virtual and in‑person CAB sessions, ensuring executive stakeholders receive actionable insights that shape product roadmaps.
- Cross‑Functional Collaboration: Partner with Product Marketing, Sales, and Customer Success to translate customer feedback into compelling messaging, product positioning, and go‑to‑market strategies.
- Customer Communications Cadence: Own the editorial calendar for newsletters, product updates, event invitations, and educational content that keep the careerzynith community informed and engaged.
- Metrics & Reporting: Define success metrics (NPS, renewal rates, expansion revenue, advocacy participation) and deliver regular performance dashboards to senior leadership.
- Thought Leadership & Community Building: Represent careerzynith at industry conferences, webinars, and virtual meet‑ups, positioning the brand as a trusted partner in the fight against cybercrime.
Essential Qualifications
- 10+ years of progressive marketing experience, with a focus on customer marketing, loyalty, or advocacy within B2B SaaS, cybersecurity, or related technology sectors.
- Demonstrated track record of designing and launching programs that measurably improve customer retention and expansion.
- Strong partnership experience with Customer Success and Sales teams; ability to translate technical product value into compelling customer narratives.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, including copywriting, storytelling, and presentation abilities.
- Hands‑on experience managing Customer Advisory Boards or comparable executive‑level customer engagement forums.
- Strategic, data‑driven mindset with proficiency in tracking program ROI, NPS, churn, and other key performance indicators.
Preferred Qualifications & Additional Skills
- Experience in a fast‑growing, merger‑active environment (careerzynith recently combined forces with other industry innovators).
- Familiarity with review platforms and analyst communities (formerly G2, Gartner Peer Insights) and the ability to leverage them for brand amplification.
- Proficiency with marketing automation tools (Marketo, HubSpot, Eloqua) and CRM systems (Salesforce, HubSpot CRM).
- Background in content production—video, podcast, and written case studies—to showcase customer success stories.
- Ability to thrive in a distributed, global team setting, collaborating across time zones in New York, London, Tel Aviv, Victoria, San Mateo, Miami, and Virginia.
Core Competencies for Success
- Strategic Vision: Ability to see the big picture, anticipate market shifts, and align customer programs with careerzynith’s long‑term objectives.
