• Develop copy specific to the critical moments of the consumer journey throughout the digital eco-system.
• Drive cohesive full funnel messaging to drive awareness, consideration and consideration.
• Craft cohesive messaging across all Carhartt D2C channels as well as for our wholesale partner Amazon.
• Serve as a protector of the Carhartt brand voice while adhering to and enforcing brand standards and guidelines.
• Maintain consistency of story and ensure messaging aligns at all points along the consumer journey.
• Deliver branded, cross category copy in support of strategic initiatives such as durability, fit, etc.
• Attend and actively contribute to relevant project and production meetings
• Be comfortable presenting creative to our partners in marketing as well as leadership
• Collaborate with external agency partners when applicable to deliver consistent and efficient results on time and on budget.
• Remain current on industry and cultural trends to help Carhartt relating to advertising, copywriting, and social.

Education

• Bachelor's degree in communications, marketing, advertising, or related discipline or equivalent years of work experience may be considered in lieu of degree or portfolio school.

Required Skills and Experience

• 5 or more years of advertising/marketing copywriting experience across all digital media platforms, with specific expertise in Amazon.
• Ideal candidate has previous experience writing for both the ecommerce and retail spaces.
• Strong creative portfolio with fully-integrated campaign work.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills, thorough attention to detail, strong prioritization, project management skills, and the ability to set and meet tight deadlines.
• Team player with willingness to pitch-in on occasional quick-turn assignments and unforeseen needs.
• Ability to address content challenges as they relate to video, digital spaces, and retail environments.

Working Conditions

• Typical office environment; office setting. Extended periods of time sitting, standing, typing on a computer is required.
• Willing to work some weekends if necessary.
• Traveling for production (potentially up to 20%).
• This position has a Remote location: Associate will have no regular requirement to be on-site. Travel on-site is limited to special events.
