Deputy Finance Director

The City of Ferndale is seeking a dynamic and forward-thinking leader in our new Deputy Finance Director role. This position will have considerable opportunity to shape the day-to-day operations of our customer focused finance team, and design innovative solutions to build on the department's successes. The Deputy will also work collaboratively with the Finance Director and City Manager to champion key strategic goals over the next few years including implementation of new procurement policies and SOPs, BS&A Cloud, refined investment strategies, and priority-based budgeting. This position is ideal for a municipal finance professional with strong BS&A skills, who is ready to embrace a leadership role in a community committed to its core values of integrity, inclusiveness, innovation, and inspiration.
