About the Role
We're seeking a highly skilled Data Analyst II to join our marketing analytics team. As a Data Analyst II, you will play a critical role in developing analyses and reports to inform business decisions and drive marketing strategies. You will work closely with business stakeholders to deliver insights and recommendations that drive business growth and customer engagement.
Job Summary
The Data Analyst II will support the marketing analytics portfolio, focusing on loyalty and personalization. You will work on various subject matter areas, including our credit card program, customer-facing text message marketing, scorecard loyalty program, and other customer-targeted marketing messaging. Under supervision, you will synthesize data from multiple sources to develop holistic narratives, create reports, and perform ad-hoc analyses to answer business questions.
Key Responsibilities
Analytics & Testing
- Data Analysis: Synthesize myriad data sources into holistic narratives to address business opportunities and strategic direction.
- Reporting: Utilize existing reporting systems to create reports, deriving information from multiple sources, to develop cohesive presentations of KPIs that are easy to understand.
- Ad-Hoc Analyses: Perform and support detailed ad-hoc, short-term, and mid-term analyses on quantitative and qualitative data to answer business questions and/or help inform strategic direction.
- Test Design: With direction and training, develop statistically sound test designs.
- Data Manipulation: Utilize common tools and platforms (e.g., SQL, GCP, Excel) and/or vendor platforms (Epsilon, Attentive, Adobe) to query, join, extract, and manipulate raw data from disparate sources to tell a comprehensive story with key insights and recommended actions.
Business Stakeholder Support
- Ad-Hoc Reports: With supervision, develop and deliver ad-hoc reports and analyses to business stakeholders.
- Training Sessions: Support formal and informal training sessions with client groups to enable business stakeholders to answer questions via self-service tools such as Intera (internal BI tool) and PowerBI.
Qualifications
Education
- Bachelor's Degree: Bachelor's degree or equivalent level preferred in Economics, Statistics, Finance, Liberal Arts, or a related field.
Experience
- Work Experience: 1-3 years of experience in data analysis, marketing analytics, or a related field.
Skills
- Technical Skills: SQL, R, Python, experience with BI tools (Tableau, Qlik, PowerBI) preferred; GCP or Azure experience.
- Soft Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent communication and presentation skills, ability to work in a team environment.
What We Offer
Compensation
We offer a competitive salary, with a targeted pay range of $54,600.00 - $90,900.00. This is part of a comprehensive total rewards package that may include other components such as incentive, equity, and benefits.
