About the Role: Customer Care Representative
We're on the lookout for dedicated and customer-centric individuals to join our Customer Care department as a Customer Care Representative. This role is pivotal in ensuring that our policy holders, agents, and funeral homes receive the highest level of service. As a Customer Care Representative, you will be the frontline ambassador of blithequark, handling phone calls with professionalism and grace, resolving queries, and addressing concerns with empathy and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional customer service to policy holders, agents, and funeral homes via phone calls, ensuring a positive experience and building customer loyalty.
- Respond to customer inquiries in a timely and professional centric�a centric manner, resolving issues and addressing concerns effectively.
- Utilize basic computer operation skills to navigate through our systems, manage customer information, and perform tasks with accuracy.
- Maintain a high level of productivity while adhering to quality standards, ensuring that customer interactions are both efficient and effective.
- Collaborate with internal teams to resolve customer issues that require additional support or escalation.
- Continuously update knowledge of our products and services to provide accurate information and support to customers.
- Participate in training and development programs to enhance skills and knowledge, staying up-to-date with new processes and procedures.
Essential Qualifications
- Proficiency in English and Spanish is highly desirable.
- A High School diploma or equivalent is required.
- Basic computer operation skills and the ability to type at least 35 words per minute.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Excel, and Word.
- The ability to pay close attention to detail and quickly learn new processes and procedures.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience in the insurance industry or a related field.
- Additional languages beyond English and Spanish.
