How You'll Help Us Keep Climbing (Overview & Key Responsibilities) Responsibilities will expand across the three terms, with increasing independence and scope: • Assist with user research activities, including interviews, contextual observations, heuristic audits, and synthesis of findings • Support workflow mapping, customer journey diagrams, service blueprints, and UI/UX evaluations • Contribute to wireframes, mockups, and interactive prototypes using tools like Figma • Participate in collaborative design critiques, system audits, and cross-functional working sessions • Document emerging design patterns, contribute to the evolving design system, and help define/document standards • Shadow UX teams working on AI/ML integration and explore how predictive technologies can support human decision-making • Communicate design intent through clear visual documentation, written summaries, and occasional presentations Students must be able to complete 3 alternating rotations in Atlanta, GA in line with the below schedule: • Fall 2025 - 1st rotation • Summer 2026 - 2nd rotation • Spring 2027 - 3rd rotation What You Need To Succeed (Minimum Qualifications) • Working as a Co-op does not guarantee a full-time opportunity upon graduation. This position is intended to provide you with educational, and professional work experience to prepare you for the workforce. • This position requires you to work for 3 alternating semesters. You cannot actively take any courses (inclusive of online or in-person) and work as a Co-op at the same time, which may delay your graduation by 1-2 semesters. • Enrolled in a Bachelor's degree program in Human-Computer Interaction, Design, Cognitive Science, Computer Science, Psychology, or a related field • Eligible for a 3-term Co-Op rotation through your academic institution • Foundational understanding of user-centered design and accessibility principles • Familiarity with UX tools such as Figma, FigJam, Miro, or similar • Portfolio or work samples that demonstrate design thinking and problem-solving skills (classwork, passion projects, or personal case studies welcome) • Strong visual and written communication skills • Proactive curiosity—you ask questions, spot gaps, and take initiative • Comfort with ambiguity and interest in working in a complex, fast-moving environment • Collaborative mindset with openness to feedback and a growth orientation • Interest in enterprise UX and the intersection of design, technology, and human performance • Mentorship from senior UX team members • Exposure to product development lifecycles and agile team dynamics • Opportunities to shadow usability tests, stakeholder presentations, and AI/ML collaborations • Access to UX learning resources and team critiques for continuous skill development • On-campus with some work from home days • Consistently prioritizes safety and security of self, others, and personal data. • Embraces diverse people, thinking, and styles. • Possesses a high school diploma, GED, or high school equivalency. • Is at least 18 years of age and has authorization to work in the United States.
