Chiropractic Biller & Coder - MUST RESIDE IN TAMPA BAY AREA!

About Us: Chiropractic & Wellness is a high-touch, patient-centered clinic providing chiropractic care, aesthetic services, and wellness solutions. As we grow, we’re seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Chiropractic Medical Biller & Coder to manage claims, authorizations, and revenue cycle tasks for our chiropractic and wellness services. This is an excellent opportunity for a billing professional who understands the unique coding and documentation requirements of a chiropractic office. Responsibilities: • Submit claims through ChiroTouch/Office Ally and verify successful transmission (EDI) • Process claims for personal injury, commercial insurance, Medicare, and wellness plans • Handle ERA/EDI enrollments and work claim rejections/denials promptly • Post payments, reconcile deposits, and track outstanding balances • Create and send patient statements as needed • Follow up on unpaid or underpaid claims, resubmitting with appropriate documentation • Request medical records or authorizations when necessary • Maintain proper coding using CPT, ICD-10, and modifier standards specific to chiropractic • Work with front desk to ensure accurate intake and benefit verification • Provide weekly collections reports and aging summaries Qualifications: • 2+ years experience in chiropractic billing and coding (required) • Proficient with ChiroTouch and Office Ally billing system (required) • Strong working knowledge of PI, auto, WC, Medicare, and commercial claims • Familiar with HIPAA, clearinghouses, payer portals, and EOB analysis • Excellent communication and organizational skills • Self-motivated and comfortable working independently or in a small team • AAPC coding certification a plus but not required • MUST RESIDE IN TAMPA BAY AREA!
