Bookkeeper (Part-time/Remote but must be in Phoenix Metro)

Position Summary: Kaizen Builders is seeking an experienced bookkeeper with 3-5 years of experience, particularly someone proficient in QuickBooks. Responsibilities: • Manage all accounts payable and receivable. • Reconcile bank statements and ensure accuracy in financial records. • Process payroll on a bi-weekly basis. • Track expenses, invoices, and other financial transactions. • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports. • Maintain detailed records of all transactions and update financial data in QuickBooks. • Assist in preparing and filing tax documents. • Handle general ledger entries and maintain a comprehensive filing system. • Collaborate with project managers and other staff to track project budgets. • Perform month-end and year-end closings. • Conduct regular financial audits to ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
