Prophet Security is a VC-backed start-up building technologies that leverage generative AI technology to streamline the triage and investigation of security alerts in enterprises. We are looking for talented Backend Software Engineers to join as a core members of our founding engineering team, where your contributions will significantly shape our architecture and key technical decisions.
You will have a direct impact on our customers by building features and enhancements that optimize our solution. This role requires a balance of technical skill, customer empathy, and initiative. We are building Scalable Data Systems and work includes Data Pipelines to ingest, process, and query huge datasets. Projects involves Tiered Storage Architectures, Scalable Processing Frameworks, and the integration and optimization of large language models (LLMs) and other AI/ML technologies. Our tech stack includes AI-powered agents, data synthesis and correlation, security tool integration, Python, Go, React, and Typescript.

Key Responsibilities
Design and develop high-quality features with a focus on scalability, reliability, and maintainability.
Contribute to the architecture and implementation of security best practices.
Work closely with our product team and directly with customers to understand their needs and build solutions that make a real difference.
Write clean, well-documented, and testable code.
Participate in code reviews and contribute to improving our engineering practices.
Conduct thorough testing and validation to ensure the quality and performance of delivered features.
Required Qualifications
A passion for building high-quality products and a strong customer focus.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a similar.
2-4 years of software engineering experience.
Experience building and deploying scalable Backend Services.
Strong understanding of software engineering principles and best practices.
Proficiency in one or more relevant languages (e.g., Go, Python).
Excellent problem-solving abilities and a detail-oriented mindset.
