Job Title: Assistant Manager / Senior Finance Executive
Job Summary:
This position will be in the financial operations team. In this role, the incumbent will be responsible for managing financial reporting, compliance, accounts payable and receivable, and maintaining our accounting systems.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Financial Reporting & Compliance – Manage accounting entries for P&L, balance sheet, process GST, tax filings, and support audit completion.
- Cashflow and Banking – Monitor bank balances and support cashflow forecast, verify bank transfers for payroll and other payables.
- Accounts Payable & Receivable – Process invoices, monitor collections, carry out cost analysis and follow up on receivables.
- Accounting Systems & Portals– Maintain finance records e.g. QuickBooks, Employment Hero etc and support government portal transactions.
- Administrative & Cross-Departmental Support – Support ad-hoc requests on tenders / contract renewals, verify expense reimbursements, and general admin support.
- Supervision & Training – Oversee and train junior staff.
Secondary Responsibilities:
- Other team member absence cover – Function as a backup for time-sensitive financial tasks.
- Payroll & Claims Support – Assist with payroll processing and statutory payments.
- Audit & Tax Assistance – Support audits, financial adjustments, and tax compliance.
- Regulatory & Government Liaison – Help with business licenses, tax filings, and statutory renewals.
- Support projects and ad-hoc Finance process requirements.
Qualifications and experiences:
- Professional Accounting qualifications or bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, or related field.
- Proven experience as a Finance Executive, Financial Accountant, or similar role.
- Strong understanding of accounting software, preferably QuickBooks.
- Excellent analytical, decision-making, and management skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
PC Requirements:
For this position to be able to work 100% remotely, mandatory PC specifications must be adhered to for your application to be fully processed. - Processor: Intel i5, 9th Gen (recomnded11th Gen or higher) or Ryzen 5 and higher (TPM compatible)
- Memory: 16 GB RAM
- Operating System: Windows 11 Pro (64-bit) or later MacOS Sonoma or later
- Storage: 500 GB or higher SSD for Dual Boot, 256 GB or more for Dual Accounts
- Microsoft Office 2013/2016 installed.
- Stable internet connection (at least 20mbps for download speed & 5mbps upload, with a ping of not higher than 50ms) Mobile data and power backup are a must.
