Air Export Coordinator | Atlanta, Georgia | REMOTE
The Air Export Coordinator will be responsible for managing international air export shipments from origin to destination, ensuring compliance with global shipping regulations, coordinating with airlines, overseas agents, and service providers, and delivering exceptional customer service throughout the export process. This is a fully remote role.
The ideal candidate will have experience in freight forwarding, air export operations, and international logistics, with the ability to manage multiple shipments, meet critical deadlines, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
• Coordinate and manage air export shipments from booking through final delivery.
• Arrange air freight bookings with airlines, consolidators, and service providers.
• Prepare, review, and process export documentation, including: Air Waybills (AWBs), Commercial Invoices, Packing Lists, Shipper’s Letters of Instruction (SLI), Certificates of Origin, Export Declarations, Dangerous Goods documentation, Other required export documents
• Ensure compliance with U.S. export regulations, airline requirements, and customer-specific shipping instructions.
• Communicate shipment status updates with customers, overseas offices, agents, airlines, trucking companies, and warehouses.
• Monitor shipment milestones and proactively resolve delays, documentation issues, capacity constraints, and service concerns.
• Coordinate pickup, delivery, and warehouse activities as required.
• Track flight schedules, shipment movement, and delivery confirmations.
• Maintain accurate shipment records and update transportation management systems, including CargoWise.
• Review airline and vendor invoices to verify billing accuracy and resolve discrepancies.
• Collaborate with sales and operations teams to support customer satisfaction, retention, and business growth.
• Meet established service-level agreements (SLAs), productivity goals, and operational performance standards.
Qualifications
• Minimum 2 years of experience in air export freight forwarding.
• Must have experience with CargoWise.
• Strong understanding of international air freight processes, export documentation, and compliance requirements.
• Knowledge of airline booking procedures, routing options, and air cargo regulations.
• Experience handling time-sensitive international shipments and resolving operational challenges.
• Proficiency with freight forwarding software and Microsoft Office applications.
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize multiple shipments and deadlines.
