About the Role:
As a Customer Engineer Summer Intern, you will be responsible for delivering top-class support to global enterprises that drive the modern-day digital economy. You will help support applications and infrastructure that enable thousands of customers to connect with their cloud services. Your responsibilities will include:
- Providing technical support to Equinix Digital Services customers through various platforms, including emails, tickets, live chat, and Slack channels
- Ensuring familiarity with all aspects of the Equinix Digital Services platform and expanding your knowledge of common use cases and deployments
- Supporting customers and operations team members, including incident management protocols and communication lead during customer-impacting events
- Providing excellent documentation to enhance self-service and contributing to public-facing documentation

Requirements and Qualifications:
To be considered for this role, you must:
- Be currently enrolled in an accredited university/college, in your penultimate year of your bachelor's or master's degree studies (graduation between December 2025-September 2026)
- Be available to work full-time for the entire duration of the Summer Internship Program (between July to September, depending on your school system)
- Have excellent written and verbal communication skills, business proficiency in English, and a strong interest in Computer Networking, System Administration, Application Support, Server-side Hardware, SQL/Databases, and APIs
- Be analytically driven and detail-oriented, with working knowledge of Microsoft Office Package and aptitude to learn new tools
