Job Title: IT Audit Consultant - Data Governance and TransformationDuration: 6-Month Contract (Potential for Extension/Conversion to Full-Time)Location:Remote (US-based working Eastern Standard Time hours)Employment Type: W2 Contract (Hourly pay only; benefits available at employee bolthires)Eligibility: US Citizens or Permanent Residents OnlyPosition Overview:We are seeking IT Audit Consultants with a strong background in data governance, data lineage, and data transformation for our consulting client.This is a remote, contract role with the potential for extension or conversion to full-time employment. Candidates must have prior experience working within global financial institutions and possess expertise in IT Audit, AML (Anti-Money Laundering), regulatory compliance, and data analysis. Key Responsibilities:• Perform IT audit testing with a focus on data lineage, data governance, and data transformation processes. • Analyze and query data using tools such as Alteryx, Python, and SQL to validate the complete and accurate transmission of data across systems.• Follow data flow between systems, ensuring data integrity and proper documentation throughout the audit lifecycle. • Develop comprehensive and well-documented audit workpapers to support findings, conclusions, and issue identification. • Conduct detailed data analysis leveraging databases, data tables, and transformation processes. • Support issue validation efforts, ensuring timely remediation of findings and compliance with audit recommendations. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to assess and improve data controls, governance frameworks, and regulatory compliance processes.• Leverage experience in AML and regulatory compliance to ensure adherence to financial regulations and standards. RequiredQualifications:• Proven experience working in global financial institutions is required. • Solid background in IT audit, with a focus on data governance and audit testing. • Strong experience in data lineage tracking and data transformation processes. • Proficiency in tools such as Alteryx, Python, and SQL for querying databases and analyzing data. • Exceptional audit documentation skills, ensuring clarity and completeness of audit workpapers.• Demonstrated experience in AML (Anti-Money Laundering) and regulatory compliance frameworks, including issue validation and remediation. • Ability to conduct thorough issue validation and support remediation efforts. • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to follow complex data flows across systems. Additional Information:• Remote opportunity for candidates based in the United States. • Candidates will join our consulting client as W2 employees.
