With studios in both Miami and New York City, we bring a global sensibility to design that’s as intentional as it is beautiful. • * Position OverviewWe are seeking a Design Assistant who is resourceful, organized, and creatively driven. You’ll support the Principal Designer in all phases of the design process—from initial concept through installation. This role is for someone who thrives in a fast-paced boutique environment, loves systems as much as style, and finds joy in the details that make design projects run seamlessly.Your work will directly expand the Principal’s creative bandwidth, enabling the firm to serve more clients while maintaining exceptional quality and personalized attention. • * Key Responsibilities• * Design Support• Source and track furnishings, lighting, materials, and finishes aligned with the firm’s *luxury wellness aesthetic.*• Create and maintain design presentations, digital boards, and FF&E specifications. • Assist with AutoCAD, SketchUp, or Revit drawings, elevations, and layout updates.• Help prepare client presentations, proposals, and design documentation. • * Project Coordination• Communicate with vendors to obtain quotes, samples, and product information. • Track orders and logistics in collaboration with the Operations Lead (EA/Bookkeeper). • Attend installations and site visits; take detailed measurements, notes, and photographs. • Manage and organize the materials library, both physical and digital. • * Administrative & Team Support• Maintain project binders, schedules, and Studio Designer data entry.• Support photo shoots and client styling as needed. • Contribute to social media and marketing projects when time allows. • * Who You Are• Organized and proactive: You anticipate needs before they’re spoken. • Detail-obsessed: You find joy in precision—measurements, material tracking, and follow-through. • Design fluent: You understand form, proportion, and finish, with a strong eye for balance and flow. • Tech-savvy: Proficient in AutoCAD, SketchUp (or similar), and Adobe Creative Suite; comfortable learning new tools like Studio Designer.• Emotionally intelligent: You communicate clearly and professionally with team members, vendors, and clients. • Culturally aware: You appreciate how wellness, sustainability, and beauty intersect in modern design. First 90 Days Success Roadmap• Confidently handle FF&E documentation and vendor communication with minimal oversight. • Serve as the Principal’s right hand in managing design execution—freeing her to focus on creative leadership and client growth. ## Growth PathThis role is designed to evolve.The right candidate will have the opportunity to grow into a Project Designer or Studio Lead position as the firm expands, with increasing creative autonomy and client-facing opportunities.
