ICT Consultant

Job Description:• Develop and formulate solutions to client problems on assigned projects. • Under general direction, responsible for the creation of work plans and task definitions. • Apply in-depth knowledge of ICT Infrastructure types and uses to perform survey, design, development, and construction administration of ICT infrastructure projects. • Be responsible for ICT design and consulting for Data Centers, Healthcare Facilities, Government Facilities, Commercial Facilities, and Structured Cabling Systems (SCS).• Perform specific and/or limited ICT Design and Consulting duties as part of a team of expert Consultants. • Gather and correlate engineering data using established and well-defined procedures. • Work on detailed and/or routine design and/or consulting assignments. • Propose solutions to solve new and/or complex problems encountered. • Provide guidance and direction to internal mid-level consultants and production staff. • Perform work in accordance with the agreed-upon budget and schedule with minimal supervision.Requirements:• Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college/university plus 8 years of relevant experience, or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education. • Current BICSI Registered Communications Distribution Designer (RCDD) Certification or other active BICSI Certification. • Due to the nature of the work, U.S. citizenship is required. • A security clearance is preferred but not required (potential/desire to obtain a security clearance is required). • Minimum 5 years of design experience with ICT infrastructure (preferred).• Professional experience and/or proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, Visio Professional, Bluebeam Extreme (Revu), bolthires Project, bolthires 365 Suite (Word, Excel, Power Point) and other ICT Specific Programs. • Professional experience and/or proficiency in Codes, Standards and regulations including Permitting, State & Local Ordinances, IEEE – C2 Standard (National Electrical Safety Code), OSHA - 1910 Standards, TIA – Cabling Standards, TIA – Data Center Standards and BICSI – TDMM and other Manuals.• Sponsorship for US employment authorization is not available for this position. • Relocation is not available for this position.
