You will work closely with our legal team to ensure that all legal matters are handled efficiently and effectively. This is a full-time position in the legal industry. Responsibilities:• Assist attorneys in all phases of the litigation process, including but not limited to, drafting pleadings, motions, and discovery requests and responses. • Conduct legal research and gather relevant information to support the case.• Assemble affidavits and other legal documents for use in court proceedings. • Communicate with vendors, opposing counsel, and clients to gather information and coordinate efforts. • Maintain case files and ensure that all documents are properly organized and filed. • Follow full cycle litigation lifecycle to ensure that all deadlines are met. • Research legal articles, treaties, and legal codes to stay up-to-date on legal developments. • Provide support in labor and employment law cases. • Utilize Westlaw, Compulaw, and Kolfax to assist with legal research.• Provide support in employment defense cases. • Proficiency in New Jersey E-filing on a state and federal level required. Qualifications:• Paralegal certificate or Bachelor's degree in a related field. • 5+ years of experience in civil litigation, preferably in labor and employment law. • Working knowledge of motions, discovery, litigation documents, court practices, and legal procedures. • Strong organizational and time management skills to meet deadlines. • Excellent communication skills to effectively communicate with vendors, opposing counsel, and clients.• Proficiency in Westlaw, Compulaw, and Kolfax. • Experience in employment defense cases. • Proficiency in New Jersey E-filing on a state and federal level required. • Years of experience in relevant L&E litigation environments.
