Role DescriptionYou’ll help define and execute the next generation of Sleep Doctor’s e-commerce business and product strategy in our emerging brands vertical, with a strong focus on CPAP and Bedding Products, Home Sleep Tests, and other sleep oriented products. As a Respiratory Therapist, Digital Care, you will provide excellent customer service and product information, solutions and relevant details to patients.Most importantly, this position provides above and beyond communication with our patients so that they feel heard, understood, valued and more connected with our sleep apnea brand. • Analyze home sleep test results to identify patterns and abnormalities. • Communicate findings clearly and effectively to customers. • Address customer questions and concerns. • Provide equipment recommendations based on sleep test results and physician recommendations ensuring alignment with individual customer needs and treatment plans.• Drive sales of CPAP, BiPAP, and related therapy equipment, ensuring recommendations align with physician orders and individual treatment plans. • Follow up with patients promptly to ensure satisfaction, address concerns, and reinforce commitment to therapy. • Perform virtual demonstration and education of respiratory therapy equipment. • Train and educate consumers on use of equipment and answer any inquiries related to services or equipment. • Keep track of industry news and developments. • Maintain working knowledge of current DME products and services offered by the company, including initial qualifications for PAP devices.• Provide technical support for PAP patients, referrals, and team members. • Maintain good relations with clients and consult with referring physicians regarding patient treatment, medical conditions, and home environments. • Identify programs or initiatives that potentially could increase company revenues, decrease costs, and/or increase customer satisfaction. • Coordinate with other departments to minimize delivery expenses and provide efficient service to customers. Qualifications• Licensed Respiratory Therapist (RRT or CRT) and/or Registered Polysomnographic technologist (RPSGT) with 2-3 years of DME experience and/or sleep lab titration experience.• Be able to troubleshoot and provide recommendations for appropriate CPAP masks, CPAP and BiPAP equipment. • You are patient focused. You start with the patient and work backwards. • Be able to set up and operate devices such as CPAP and BiPAP machines. • Knowledge of Durable Medical Equipment (DME) or Home Medical Equipment (HME), specific to Sleep Apnea and CPAP Products. • Excellent verbal, written, communication skills, and ability to properly treat confidential information. • Thrive in a fast-paced and collaborative cross-functional environment; can multi-task and pivot with relative ease as priorities change.Benefits• BaseSalary Range: $68,000-75,000 annually. • Medical, vision, and dental insurance with 100% of the employee premiums covered by the Company. • Option to participate in both a medical FSA and dependent care FSA. • 401(k) plan with fully matching contributions up to 3% of salary and 50% matching from 3% to 5% of salary. • Company paid life-insurance policy and option to participate in a voluntary pet-insurance policy. • Eligible for Paid Time Off in accordance with the company’s policies.• Commuter benefits for Seattle-based employees.
