This position is ideal for someone who enjoys the technical, behind-the-scenes work of tracking partnership books, tax basis, and allocations.Partnership Tax Allocations• Track 704(b) and 704(c) allocations• Track book vs. tax realized gains and losses• Maintain accurate partner-level book and tax basis schedulesPartnership Accounting• Prepare annual financial statements for investment partnerships• Reconcile bank accounts and other cash activity• Record cash and property contributions/distributions• Maintain accurate financial reports and supporting documentation• Account for debt investments, passthrough entities, and marketable securities• Assist with the accounting and analysis of complex investment transactionsWhat We’re Looking For• 3–5 years of experience in investment partnership accounting• Hands-on knowledge of IRS partnership allocation rules (704(b)/704(c))• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting preferredInterested in hearing more?Easy by clicking the "Easy Apply" button.
