About UsWe are Eyncon Engineering & Surveying, a Texas-based multi-discipline firm providing structural, civil, geotechnical, and MEP engineering services throughout the state. Our projects range from residential foundations and framing to light commercial, metal buildings, and multifamily developments. We take pride in practical, buildable designs that balance performance and constructability. We’re seeking a full-time structural engineer to join our growing remote team. Role OverviewThe Structural Engineer will support and lead projects involving:Foundation design (PT, slab-on-grade, pier-and-beam, helical/piers, etc.)Framing design (wood, steel, CMU, light gauge, and concrete systems)Evaluation and repair of existing structures (residential and commercial)Coordination with architects, builders, and draftersReview and sealing of structural plans (if licensed)You’ll work closely with other engineers and project managers, producing high-quality deliverables efficiently using modern collaboration tools.Key ResponsibilitiesPerform analysis and design for structural systems per IBC, IRC, ACI, AISC, NDS, and ASCE 7Review architectural drawings and coordinate with clients for constructabilityProduce and check structural plans, notes, and calculationsMentor drafters and junior engineers on detailing and design intentParticipate in QA/QC of deliverables prior to issueCommunicate professionally with builders, architects, and inspectors(If licensed) review and stamp drawings within your jurisdictionPreferred QualificationsBachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Civil or Structural EngineeringLicensed PE (Texas preferred) or EIT actively pursuing PE3–10 years of experience in structural design for residential or light commercial workProficiency in RISA, Enercalc, Forte, Revit, and AutoCAD (or equivalent tools)Knowledge of Texas soils, foundation movement, and expansive clays a plusStrong attention to detail and commitment to accuracyWork EnvironmentFull-time, remote position (U.S.-based candidates preferred)Standard working hours: Central Time (flexible)Collaborative, high-performance environment — we value initiative and clear communicationLong-term opportunity with room to grow into lead engineer or project managerCompensationFull-time (40 hours/week) – long-term positionCompetitive pay based on experience and licensureOpportunities for performance-based bonusesPotential for future profit-sharing or leadership rolePlease include:A brief message summarizing your structural experience and project types you’ve handledConfirmation of your licensure (PE or EIT) and state(s)Examples or summaries of similar work you’ve completed (drawings, calculations, etc.)Would you like me to tailor it slightly for U.S.-licensed engineers only (to filter out overseas applicants) or leave it open to international engineers who can work under your supervision (like Raoul and others)?Apply tot his job
