Fractional/Remote Sr. Controller for Banking Industry

Charles River CFO, Inc. (CRCFO) is seeking an experienced Sr. Controller for our client in Minnesota. This part-time, fractional, REMOTE, position is 10-20 hours per week and requires banking experience and experience working in the Fiserv Premier core banking system would be a plus. This assignment is 12 - 18 months. We are looking for a seasoned financial professional with 10+ years of experience as a Controller, who can provide strategic leadership and hands-on financial oversight to our client. This role is for a true Controller that can roll up their sleeves to get the job done and has somewhat recent experience performing this role.Key Responsibilities:• In this Controller role, assume the day-to-day financial leadership of the bank's finance and accounting functions overseeing: payroll, transactions, expense and invoice management, cash flow, reconciliations, customer accounts, budgeting, forecasting and internal controls• Provide leadership and direction to the bank's finance and accounting support staff• Prepare month end financials and deliver to senior management• Manage month end close, quarterly call report submission and related compliance and regulatory reporting• Perform other duties as requiredQualifications:• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (required)• Experience working in the Fiserv Premier core banking system, "Thought Machine" core banking software and "NetSuite" is a plus• Start date is December 1, 2025About Charles River CFO, Inc.Since 2003, Charles River CFO, Inc. has been a trusted provider of Fractional, Interim, and Outsourced Financial Leadership services.
