You will have the opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment, using a variety of equipment and technology to select, pack, and ship orders.Key ResponsibilitiesAs a warehouse associate, your duties will include:* Receiving and putting away inventory* Getting customer orders ready and packing them up* Loading boxes into trucks for shipment* Using scanners to read bar codes on products* Viewing prompts on screens and following the direction for some tasks* Troubleshooting problems* Ensuring product meets quality requirements* Operating power industrial trucks (PIT) such as a forklift or pallet driver, and working at heights up to 35 feet.Equipment training and certification are provided free of bolthires. You will also need to be able to:* Lift up to 49 pounds* Push utility carts up to 60 pounds* Stand, walk, push, pull, squat, bend, and reach during shifts* Use carts, dollies, hand trucks, and other gear to move items around* Go up and down stairs (where applicable)* Work at a height of up to 40 feet on a mezzanine (where applicable)* Adhere to strict safety, quality, and fulfillment production standardsWhat It's Like Working at blithequarkAt blithequark, we prioritize the safety and well-being of our employees.We provide protective gear and encourage a culture of safety, with daily safety tips shared among teams. On hot days, temperatures can be over 90 F in the truck yard or inside trailers.We also provide hearing protection if you need it.
