Role and Responsibilities As a Customer Support Specialist, your role will be instrumental in delivering a seamless and welcoming atmosphere for our customers. Your responsibilities will include: * Handling sales transactions efficiently using the assigned cash register * Ensuring the protection of all cash assets and safeguarding all company belongings against risks * Offering excellent customer assistance and upholding a welcoming and harmonious attitude towards customers, coworkers, and supervisors * Supporting in the acceptance of merchandise and unloading of transport vehicles * Performing duties in a manner that promotes safety, respecting and upholding all prescribed policies and procedures Key Responsibilities: *Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring that every customer leaves our store feeling valued and satisfied. *Cash Handling: Handle sales transactions efficiently and accurately, ensuring the protection of all cash assets and safeguarding all company belongings against risks. *Merchandise Management: Support in the acceptance of merchandise and unloading of transport vehicles, ensuring that our stores are always fully stocked and visually appealing. *Store Operations: Perform duties in a manner that promotes safety, respecting and upholding all prescribed policies and procedures. Required Skills and Experience To be successful in this role, you'll need: *Math Skills: Adequate math skills are required for the accurate processing of financial transactions related to cash in accounting contexts. *Verbal Communication: Enhancing verbal communication competencies for successful customer engagements. *Integrity and Honesty: Ensuring a consistent display of integrity and honesty, especially in roles that involve cash handling. Preferred Qualifications While not required, the following qualifications would be an asset: *Previous Retail Experience: Previous experience in a retail environment, preferably in a customer-facing role. *Leadership Skills: Demonstrated leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team. *Problem-Solving Skills: Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and resolve conflicts.
