As a key member of our airport operations team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safe and efficient transportation of cargo, baggage, and mail to and from aircraft. Key ResponsibilitiesAs a Ramp Agent, you will be responsible for:* Safely lifting, loading, unloading, and transporting baggage, mail, and cargo to and from aircraft, ensuring timely connections and guiding incoming and departing aircraft from gate positions. * Safeguarding cargo, baggage, and mail from damage, loss, and weather-related hazards.* Safely driving and operating ground equipment such as tugs, belt loaders, and tow tractors in areas of congestion. * Operating baggage scanners and computers to ensure accurate routing of baggage to customers' destinations. * Collaborating with colleagues to ensure seamless airport operations and exceptional customer experiences. Work Environment and ScheduleAs a Ramp Agent, you will work in a fast-paced airport environment, often in harsh weather conditions. Shifts will vary, ranging from early morning to overnight, and you will work between 20 and 40 hours per week based on operational needs.Each station is unique, with its individual flight schedule, so flexibility and adaptability are essential.
