Job Overview We are currently seeking a highly motivated and results-oriented Customer Account Support Specialist to.This role is 100% remote, offering the flexibility and autonomy to work from anywhere. As a key member of our collections team, you will play a vital role in servicing our large and growing portfolio of customers. Your primary responsibility will be to contact customers to determine the reason for payment delinquency and negotiate payments, ensuring that all interactions are handled with professionalism and integrity. Key Responsibilities As a Customer Account Support Specialist at blithequark, your duties will include: Contacting customers to understand the reasons behind payment delinquencies and negotiating payments that meet their needs and our requirements.Handling customer accounts with speed, accuracy, and professionalism, ensuring that all interactions are positive and productive. Confirming and negotiating payment arrangements, researching any discrepancies, and finding solutions that work for everyone involved. Meeting required performance standards and metrics through completing phone calls and maintaining detailed records of all customer interactions. Maintaining established objectives for delinquency, repossessions, and net losses, and staying up-to-date with changes in policies and procedures.Utilizing our computerized system for tracking, information gathering, and troubleshooting to ensure efficient and effective account management. Documenting all accounts accurately, clearly, and concisely, noting the reason for delinquency and any agreements or actions taken. Responding to customer inquiries with accurate information, professionalism, and integrity, ensuring that our customers feel valued and supported. Adhering to all state and federal laws in the handling of accounts, ensuring compliance and protecting both our customers and our company.Qualifications and Skills To be successful in this role, you will need: Excellent communication skills :The ability to listen actively, speak clearly, and write effectively is crucial for success in this position. Attention to detail : You must be able to accurately document customer interactions, maintain detailed records, and ensure that all information is up-to-date and correct. Professional phone etiquette : As the primary point of contact for our customers, you must be able to communicate professionally and courteously over the phone.Good follow-up skills :The ability to follow up with customers, ensure that agreements are met, and maintain ongoing relationships is essential. Persuasive negotiation skills : You must be able to negotiate payments and agreements that meet both the customer's needs and our requirements. bolthires Windows and Internet-based applications experience : Proficiency in using computerized systems for tracking, information gathering, and troubleshooting is necessary. Basic typing/data entry skills : You must be able to accurately and efficiently enter data and maintain records.Ability to multi-task :The ability to handle multiple customer interactions simultaneously, prioritize tasks, and manage your time effectively is crucial. Ability to work a flexible schedule :This role requires availability for shift requirements between 8:00am – 7:00pm CST Monday – Friday and 8:00am – 12:00pm CST on Saturday. Education and ExperienceThe ideal candidate will have: High School or Equivalent Required : A high school diploma or equivalent is the minimum educational requirement for this role.Associates Degree or Bachelor’s Degree in business or related field : While not required, a degree in business or a related field can be beneficial and may be used in lieu of experience. Prior experience in financial services or similar industry : Experience in financial services, collections, or a related field is preferred, as it will provide a strong foundation for success in this role.
