The team designs, develops, delivers innovative products and services that are essential to bringing Internet, TV and voice to more than 28 million residential and business customers.Job DescriptionLocation: Philadelphia PA - RemoteWork Arrangement: FTE, W2 Hourly, or 1099 Contract RoleWork Authorization: EAD/OPT, GC & USCIT / OPT/EADCore Responsibilities• Develop and test ETL components to high standards of quality and performance. • Perform design/code/test reviews for ETL components. • Assist with planning and execute releases of ETL components into production. • Develop or enhance Pentaho plugins (Java) as needed. • Provide operational support for the analytics infrastructure.• Research, identify and recommend technical and operational improvements resulting in improved reliability and/or efficiencies in maintaining and/or developing the application. • Evaluate and advise on technical aspects of open work requests in the product backlog with the project lead. Education and Experience• 8 years+ experience with ETL, SQL, Java and Unix/Linux a must• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or other related field. Or equivalent work experience. • 8 or more years of experience with ETL Development• 8 years+ of IT work experience in business intelligence tools and systems.• Extensive experience with one or more ETL Administration platforms (Informatica/Snaplogic/Pentaho/Talend/Stich/Alooma)• Experience with data warehouse concepts/architecture in high volume, real-time transactions and batch ETL jobs• Strong Perl programming skills, PERL DBI module & multithreaded• Strong Oracle SQL programming skills• Working knowledge of Relational Database Management Systems (RDBMS) and data warehouse front-end tools• Extensive knowledge of data warehouse and data mart concepts• Experience with full SDLC and Agile development methodology• C, Java, Python, any Big Data tool experience a big plus• Experience with information security and access control protocols• Experience in Debugging/ QA TestingAdditional InformationAll your information will be kept confidential according to EEO guidelines.Are you self-motivated, collaborative, and client-focused?
