They operate as a medium-sized organization, offering a range of services and solutions to clients in the Commercial sector. Job Description • Prepare detailed and accurate cost estimates for construction projects based on project specifications and requirements. • Collaborate with project managers, architects, and subcontractors to gather information and ensure accuracy in estimates. • Analyze project plans and specifications to identify potential cost-saving opportunities. • Track and manage project budgets, ensuring alignment with financial goals. • Provide support during the bidding process by preparing proposals and related documentation. • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, materials, and labor costs. • Utilize estimating software and tools to streamline processes and improve efficiency. • Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders to ensure project success. The Successful Applicant A successful Estimator should have: • 3+ years in Estimator role • Field experience is nice to have • Longevity and growth in previous roles • Experience in preparing cost estimates for construction projects within the Construction industry. • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail to ensure accuracy in estimates. • Proficiency in using estimating software and tools. • Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with various stakeholders. • An understanding of construction processes, materials, and labor costs. • A proactive approach to identifying cost-saving opportunities and improving project outcomes. What's on Offer • Base salary ranging from $104,000 up to $135,000 for senior-level candidates. • 80% health coverage with an HSA contribution of $750-$1750. • 100% dental coverage and a $20/month wellness stipend. • 401k match and access to an Employee Stock Purchase Plan. • Unlimited PTO, 10 sick days, and 8 holidays annually.
