This position partners with business stakeholders to develop clear project plans, define project metrics and report on project status and results.Provides independent, analytical, and programmatic support for the health system’s strategic initiatives. Licensure, Certification, or Registration Requirements for Hire:PMP certification or equivalent training/experienceLicensure, Certification, or Registration Requirements for continued employment:Lean, Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification preferredExperience REQUIRED:Minimum five (5) years project management experienceExperience PREFERRED:Three (3) years project management experience in the healthcare industryEducation/training REQUIRED:Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Statistics, Healthcare Management or related field from an accredited programEducation/training PREFERRED:Master’s Degree in Business, Statistics, Healthcare Management or related field from an accredited programIndependent action(s) required:Determines and develops approaches to solutions with work completed with accuracy and sound judgment ensuring objectives are met.Strong analytical and critical thinking skills to assist in the development of new systems, techniques, procedures and to develop special and recurring reports or analysis. Strong project management and business analysis skills, including the ability to interpret customer business needs, translate needs to application and operational requirements, and document and communicate via business process, use case, and workflow diagrams.Strong decision-making and leadership abilities. Ability to plan, organize, and influence the work of others in order to achieve project and organizational objectives. Ability to manage and be responsible for shifting business priorities, demands and timelines.
